Welcome              February,2018

Dear Parents,

1.  Test folders are given out on Tuesdays and must be returned by Thursday for credit points.  

2.  The New York City trip is scheduled for  Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  Information letters and permission slips were given out on Monday, January 8.  A deposit of $80.00 for each traveler is needed by February 1.  The balance of $75.00 per traveler is due on March 1.  A graduation fee of $50.00 is due on April 1.

       At this time, there are no seats left for chaperones.  If one becomes available, I will contact the people on the waiting list in the order of request.  Thanks for your patience.

3.  We have completed organizing our Science Fair log books.  All log entries must be completed by Friday, January 12.  Please ask your student for the log book frequently to be sure that he/she is keeping up with the project.  The next dates are:

                       Friday, January 12 - Log book completed,

                       Friday, January 26 - Typed hard copy of project

                       Friday, February 16 - Display board completed            

**  THIS IS A MAJOR GRADE FOR THE SECOND TRIMESTER for several subjects - Science, Writing, Grammar and Spelling.  Please edit for your child and have him/her

       use Grammar check and Spell check on all work.

**In the first trimester, some students were lax in turning in assignments, especially writing assignments.  Please impress on you child that failure to turn in assignments will reflect negatively on their report card.
